I was excited to get these for my kids and after charging completely, all was green the things don't hold a charge. We started playing and the battery light keeps appearing on the TV. I hit the home button and the controller battery levels in the red. So dissapointed

I like this because we go through multiple batteries. This is a much better option

Great charger for 4 wii remote with 4 battery pack, you need to supply the USB charger, came only with the USB cable.

We still have a Wii that gets played fairly regularly so when I saw this rechargeable battery set I thought it would be awesome and immediately got it. I've had a few different rechargeable battery sets in the past for the Wii and they all worked great until the batteries finally went bad. What I didn't realize about these when I ordered them is that the battery pack is made onto the battery cover. On all the other sets I had the battery pack and rear cover were separate. I didn't think much of it and put two of the rechargeable batteries into two wiimotes and new disposable batteries into to other wiimotes for a head to head test. Once charged, the new batteries seemed to work fine and lasted a reasonable amount of time. The problem came when the first battery died in the middle of a game. We wanted to just swap in some disposable batteries and keep playing, I thought it would be no big deal. When I went to remove the rear cover/battery pack it basically wouldn't budge. I ended up having to have someone else hold onto the wiimote while I pried the battery pack out with a tool. I put a small gouge in the back of the wiimote housing in the process and I'm really surprised I didn't do more damage. After that ordeal I decided to remove the other battery and will only use them in the couple o knockoff wiimotes I have. I don't want to take the chance of ruining my originals. I've never had any problem with any other the other rechargeable battery sets I've used for the wii and this is the only one that was made with the battery and back in one piece. I ended up being really disappointed with this and I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known they were like this.

I got tired of swapping rechargeable batteries. I like that the kids now have a place to store the controllers and they are charged at the same time. You cannot use a skin on the controller as it will cover the battery charge contacts on the back and it will not fit in the base. We also had a little issue getting the controllers to charge while the wrist strap was installed. I figured out to rotate the knot on the controller and to pull the strap under the controller when installing in the charge base and this allows them to charge with the strap installed.

For the most part it works great for 3 out of 4….one didn’t work from the get go unfortunately…the ones that do work last for many hours.
