I was replacing all my rusted brake lines. My threads were M10, but half on my Brake Pressure Valve / Proportioning Valve were threaded fine, half coarse / a different thread pitch. I think so car manufacturer Assembly Techs when building the new car, couldn't screw the wrong fitting in? Don't force a fitting. My Brake Pressure Valve was aluminum - whose threads get ruined before the harder steel Tube Nut's do.

I deal with rusty vehicles and I like them to be safe. I had to replace some lines and these fittings allowed me to make custom lines with my flaring tools. I also purchased tubing to make the lines.Purchasing the bulk materials to make lines are cheaper than buying 2-3 lines at my local auto parts store.

Double check the threads. I spent time doing break lines to find two was leaking. Further inspection threads was not perfect and wasn’t not grabbing my union I got from the same guys. Just check before you use em or your cutting already measured out lines to replace em

This worked perfectly for replacing corroded brake lines with union fittings rated for hydraulic brake applications. Note: Do not make an SAE double-flare with this nut. It must be a one-step ISO bubble flare. If in doubt, inspect the old nut. The unthreaded portion at the end of the nut indicates it is an ISO bubble flare. A full-thread nut is probably from a double-flare line.

Needed to replace hard brake lines in the rear of my 2002 325i. These seemed to work well in conjunction with 3/16th CuNi alloy lines. Hopefully they have some rust resistance.

Needs a 12 mm wrench to tighten (what I replaced was 11 mm). Good quality, a nice compliment to cunnifer lines. There's no reason to pay more for another kind.
