Product Description

The replacement 4x4 Transfer Case Lower shift linkage arm allows your F-150, F-250, F-350 or Ford Bronco to shift in and out of 4WD mode. This part acts as like a middle-man that tells your transfer case on what desired mode the vehicle is being shifted into. Over time, the factory transfer case linkage arm becomes stiff or gets stucked which results into the part breaking or not being able to shift the vehicle anymore

If you are having a hard time shifting your vehicle in and out of 4WD mode then you may have a problem with this part and it is advisable to replace your transfer case shift linkage arm once stiffness of shifting in and out of 4WD mode is experienced to prevent it from snapping off and cause more problems while you are driving.

The mounting bolt is a metric thread pitch, 14x2 to be exact, you need 1/2x13...aside from that the part that clamps on the shifter itself doesn't clamp down enough and the nut stripped out, can't tighten or loosen it now!

AS others have noted the main bolt will not thread into the bracket attached to the trans. We pulled it back out cut off the torn up threads and found a nut to fit. We then took the factory bracket off, cut off the welded nut and replaced it with the new nut. Problem solved. Works fine. So save the hassle take the factory nut off and replace it right away to make it easy. Good Luck

Perfect replacement on my 93. High quality, simple install. Despite what everyone is saying, the new large bolt they give you DOES work, you just gotta put a little muscle into it as it’s a tight fit.

This is not a high quality part I would expect to last forever, but it worked and price is spot on. Hopefully I can get another one at a similar price when this one breaks.
