Everything went together good. Feels quality. Part store wants like $125. Only think i noticed was it does like to spring open. So while it does engage 4wd and disengage it takes a minute or so to disengage. I’ve only checked one and I had to reach under and pull the cable out a little to shut the 4wd light off. But it did disengage it just took more than the usual back and forth driving to shut off the light. May loosen up overtime.

Doesn't have a spring in it like the oe. Not a huge deal as long as the cable is free. We'll see how long it lasts.

Works as it should, only had a minor issue with installation. The retainer spring did not want to engage in the slot on the engagement rod. Ipulled the retainer spring off and used the spring from the old unit that had failed. For the price, no complaints. It works as it should and for the 50 dollars in savings over buying here in town I can manage to change a retainer spring myself just fine.

Was very disappointed to find after opening that the part had a small hole leaking on the side, also compared to the removed OEM part , this one has no internal recoil spring inside, so not a replacement part as advertised! i used rubber glue to seal the hole, and installed, only to find out it dont work, my 99 Jimmy SLT still no 4x4, what a waste of $44.95 +tax! I think the quality control is bad also, i mean how can seller send out defective product without checking before shipping. Don't buy this, low quality, and defective!
