After 40+ years, I retyped all my good recipes and put each in one of these sleeves. I can wipe the sleeve if something gets on it. I can also slide the card out of the sleeve to write all my notes and edits. Just what I wanted and works as expected.

These are twice as thick as the BigKitchen brand I bought several years ago. It is easy to slip the cards into the side of the sleeve & they are not oversized so, they fit perfectly into a recipe box. They appear to be well-made, not easily torn & as if they would last years of use.

Seem to work well. A bit concerned about how they will hold up. Slightly thicker than cellophane. Hope the seams are durable. Time will tell. Overall first impression, I like them.

Some brands of poor quality index card covers and recipe card covers are made of flimsy polyethylene film, like a Baggie or other brand of food storage bag.This plastic is sturdier and stiffer. (But not actually rigid.) Just right, in other words.I filled a few hundred of these covers with cards. (I bought several packs.) There wasn't a single defective cover in the bunch. And none tore, ripped, came apart, bent, creased or deformed.If you buy these covers/sleeves/protectors, the edges of your index cards won't slice through this plastic, as they can through polyethylene film.Highly recommended.

These are thick, clear, and a good size for 4x6 recipe cards, fitting easily over them without being too large. I can easily read the recipe underneath without excessive glare in the plastic getting in my way. For a small purchase, these made me ridiculously happy! Far exceeded my expectations!

These recipe card protector sleeves are perfect! They are sturdy and thicker material, which I really wanted. They look great on my recipe cards and seem like they will last a really long time. I highly recommend!

Excellent! Just what I was looking for to protect my recipe cards. These are perfect sleeves for 4x6 cards. Very easy to slip cards inside. I don't know about durability, but they look like they will last me a while, being that they're just recipe card protectors. They aren't flimsy, but they're not heavy duty. They're in between and look sturdy and well made.
