  • Plain weave carbon fiber cloth has a short space between interlaces that gives it the ability to maintain its weave angle, fiber orientation, and its high level of stability.
  • Carbon fiber is preferred as it has the highest tensile strength of all reinforcing materials. The dry 3K Plain Weave Fabric gives a small checkerboard carbon fiber look.
  • It boasts a combined strength and stiffness-to-weight that is unmatched in the composites industry. In fact, when looking at strength to weight comparisons, carbon fiber outperforms most traditional building materials
  • Carbon fiber can be found everywhere from auto racing to aerospace. Its unmatched strength and weight, along with its modern cosmetics, have made it a widespread favorite in today's composite industry. Highly desirable for modern composite parts in the aerospace, auto, marine, and sporting goods industries.
  • This is a first quality commercial grade 3K carbon fiber fabric and is made in the USA. 3K means each tow/bundle is constructed of 3000 filaments. The bundles are woven together to form the fabric, which makes it a strong, yet lightweight material.

Whether you're looking for a traditional twill weave that offers better drapability or patterned weaves to catch the eye of a passerby, we have what you are looking for. Our fabrics use fibers that are most often used in aerospace and automotive applications.

Carbon Fiber Fabric is just like other fabrics except it uses carbon fibers instead of cotton, nylon, polyester, etc. The weave is coarser than fabrics used for clothing is more like a heavy canvas. Carbon fiber fabric needs to be laminated with a matrix (i.e. epoxy resin) to form a rigid structure.

The dry 3K Plain Weave Fabric gives a small checkerboard carbon fiber look. 3K carbon fiber material is easy to manipulate and can be used in application such as aerospace, marine, auto and sporting goods.

Used for my first job in applying carbon fiber over a plastic part of some size to provide additional strength. Worked great!Found some Youtube videos from the marine/boating community that do a good job explaining how prepare the plastic part and applying CF over various plastic non structural parts. There is some skill involved in doing this right..

HELL YEAH!!! So far, I’ve used it to make my windscreen for my Gsxr 600, the material comes properly rolled not folded. Can’t complain, had enough material to do two layers, and it came out amazing
