5 pcs ST L7805CV-DG 5V 1.5A voltage regulator. This is ST Microelectronic’s version of the 7805 popular voltage regulator.
The L7805CV-DG is our favourite pick because it can handle input voltages up to 35V and cranks out 1.5A (max). The advantage of the “DG” version is the “dual gauge” GND contact to connect with the heat sink.
If you are looking for a high-efficiency replacement for a 7805, have a look at our 7805 switching type regulator.
On a side note:
We had some trouble with faked L7805CV in the past. Counterfeits are marked with the STM logo. These chips blow up at random input voltage, much lower than the 35V an original STM L7805CV can handle. Stay away from counterfeits and get the genuine part from us!
