Must have for home DIYer and/or experienced mechanic. When you need to get into those tight hard to reach spots.

Love this stuff, makes it easy to separate electrical wires and all other things in your car. It beats struggling manually using hands and fingers.

I picked these because the quality looked much better than most of the competing products and was willing to pay extra. The product took almost a month to show up (Dec 18th - Jan 12th).I have no issue with the quality; however, I don't think it was worth the extra money in the end. I purchased at $107 CAN and now I see the price has dropped to $59 which is almost half of what I paid. I would say worth the value at the now lower price.

One of these things is not like the others... The one on the right has a proper recess ground out around the pivot, so the tool doesn't get in its own way. The others, as you can see from the closeup, do not. In the third picture you see one from the side; it's been ground flat. But in the fourth picture you see that when you fully open the tools they deform at the pivot, leaving sharp slivers sticking out. This is because the pivot wasn't made with any clearance. The fact that they did one tells me they know it should be done. Are they made in different factories? Anyway, I shouldn't have to clean up burrs with a file to make brand new tools safe to use. Other than that they seem adequate, about what you'd expect for bargain (cheap) Chinese tools.

I used these pliers for snap ring tools..despite being made in China, they are well made & heavy duty. Cannot beat the price for a 5 lot of 11" pliers like these! The tips are big (for snap ring use) , but easily modified with a Dremel tool..
