We had to replace the adapter going into my rain barrel because it was very difficult to thread the faucet on straight with this on the connector. Just as easy to use teflon tape

I always have a hard time getting the hose on tight enough it doesn’t leak with regular washers. These go on easily and no more drips.

Works while hose is connected. I purchased these for camping. Everytime I put hose on, I need a new connector even though its on the same water spout. I guess I’ll have to buy more. I wonder if small balloons will work just the same but be cheaper?!
