A different use than most. I have adapted a walk behind 5 HP leaf blower to fit the front my golf cart and it mounts on similar to a snowplow on a pickup truck. I had a longer than normal throttle control mounted so I could control the engine speed from the golf cart. I used this heavier duty control cable to operate the chute that directs the discharge of the leaves. The locking feature was needed so that the large volumn of air and leaves being discharged would not move the chute one it was positioned where I wanted it. Now I no longer have to get off golf cart to change the direction that the leaves blow. This cable worked perfectly for my application
