Decent rod that wasn't what I needed but was mostly, accurately described. Thick diameter seemed larger than 5/8'" in some spots, making it hard to get into soil. Has a decent amount of weight also, so you have to get more than a 6" depth or it will tip over in softer soils. Rough casting mold doesn't allow for easy probing in harder soils.

Good quality. Hardware looks to be stainless--we'll see. A bit pricey but it's exactly what I needed for mobile ground rod.
