I love these light! Unfortunately, I had to buy two just to get enough length that hung properly for where we wanted them to hang. We have a vaulted ceiling so it took some planning. These lights were reasonably priced so it wasn't a big issue to buy two to have enough hanging poles to hang where we wanted. The lights take a little time to put together but we're packaged great! So now we have a few extra parts as spares in the attic. They look really great especially on a dimmer switch.

This Lyrandel 5 Light Fixture is very attractive if you like brushed nickel. I don't refer to this fixture as a "chandelier" because, well, it isn't. Between the choice of clear glass or frosted. This frosted glass dims the light and provides a very attractive (not overbearing light) fixture.This fixture is long and has 5 globes and fit over my 8" island perfectly. The fixture is well-balanced with the two poles that come from the top to the rod that holds all of the globes.The fixture is packaged with each globe in 4 individual frosted glass slabs that slide into the metal rail. Assembly wasn't complicated but you do have to be careful with the slabs of the globe.This light fixture is a 10 in my books. I am so happy that I ordered it and am very happy to recommend the purchase.

UPDATE: My husband decided to hang this light today, although we are remodeling our whole kitchen, he hung it so it will be level over the new island he is rebuilding.This light exceeded our expectations by far! The light looks amazing in our kitchen, you have different options on how low or high you want it, we chose to keep it pretty high. It is so much brighter than our old light. I like that fact that you can put your own bulbs in as well. He is going to put this on a dimmer switch eventually during the remodel.We are going to be remodeling our kitchen soon, my husband had picked this out on Amazon. Of course it came today and he had to inspect it right away to make sure that it was good quality. Once we get it hung up I will definitely update this review, but this is what he said about it upon inspection."Well built, heavy 5 light bar. This is not a cheap built light like what you would get from most box stores. This is the perfect length for going above our 8 foot kitchen island. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone looking for a nice upgrade or for a home remodel project."Also, it shipped very quickly and was very well packed.I'm excited to see it up after our kitchen remodel!
