I had an old craftsman 2400w generator that wasn't working. I would only put out about 1.5 volts. The original rectifier board was visible done for. Trouble is, you can't buy a new one any more. I installed one of these rectifiers and now it puts out 120v like it should. Only issue is this. I ran it under medium load for several minutes to test. It functioned fine, but it was so hot after that I couldn't touch it. Thankfully these rectifiers have a hole through the center. I'm going to make a heatsink out of an aluminum plate I had laying around and bolt it on with some thermal paste. Hopefully this will help mitigate heat and help this rectifier last longer. 5 stars for bringing new life to my almost 30 yr old generator.

Idk how my husband came to know that our lawnmower had a burnt rectifier and he told me to order this. This works perfectly for our lawnmower and finally i dont have to buy an expensive lawnmower again to keep my lawn in check. Lol.
