Fit perfect on my 25 year old Craftsman creeper.

Wheels are poor quality. The ball bearings fall out after a little use. I spend more time in my shop now working on my creeper and these crappy wheels than anything.

I was looking for a caster with a 5/16 inch stem width, which they said in the description it was but it is actually 8mm which is larger than 5/16. they show the item with both metric and imperial measurements , however the item is entirely metric and should have been so noted in the description. At thepresent time I don't have a need for this item but the hassle of returning isn't worth the grief I'll have to go through.

Bought these not too long ago. They worked great for the first month or so, but they quickly started falling apart after that. The only reason u don’t give it 1 star is because the shop I work at is usually very dirty and maybe these would work best in a cleaner shop environment.

rewrote this review because i recently had to replace this set of caster wheels. All but one caster startes to lose all of the ball bearings needed to allow the wheels to swivel. The level of use of the creeper has been minimal, once or twice a year rto perform maintaince on an airplane. never used in a professional shop. Not lasting more than 18 months is not good value for the money spent.

Seemed ok at first but over a short time it is quickly realized that the metal/design is not strong enough to work for this application. The supporting washer that acts like a bearing cage and bearing support will bend and release all the swivel bearings. Then, they are worthless.

The wheels broke after being on my creeper for a few hours, you get what you pay for.

Was used for a creeper on a cement floor. Wheels did not last at all. Inner bearing broke very quickly on some while on others, the material separated

I used these to replace the broken casters on my Walmart "Popular Mechanics" brand creeper (very similar to Craftsman mentioned and pictured in another review). I had great difficulty finding suitable replacements on Amazon. Although the wheels on these are dimensionally identical to original wheels, the caster mounting bolt and nut are slightly smaller in diameter, but still fit and look good. There wasn't a drop of lube in them as received, and 2 of the 4 casters would barely rotate or turn. After oiling they work fine, roll very smoothly on concrete garage floor, and good as originals in this respect. However, the caster metal frame is stamped from a thinner gauge steel than the originals, and the balls are a bit smaller. Some reviewers mentioned balls falling out - these have a wider gap at bearing housing than original casters, but I don't think they're going to fall out. I (200 lbs) rolled around quite a bit testing and no bearings were lost. These are not as good as the original 27-year-old casters, but those are impossible to find. I did find replacement wheels only that were a close match to originals @ $8 each. At $13 for 4 complete casters, these saved me from spending $70 on a similar quality new creeper, so I think that's a pretty good deal. Great value.

The price is a little high. I can get a whole new creeper through H.F. for a couple of dollars more. The design is a little different. The originals had flats on the outside of the upper bearing case. These have a tiny bolt flat area above the bearing. No wrench I own is thin enough to fit on this. No space. I put my lock washers from old wheels under the creeper tubing and just above the wrench flats. This was the only way I could get them to tighten up. The lock washers dug into the bottom of the tubing and into a small flange on the the wheel stud. I may have to cut them out if I ever replace them again.
