If you're a vendor, specifically with food, these will work great for you. You can pull and install easily, clean without any issues, and cover when not in use.

Out of six containers, there was only one broken weld on the lid handle. Overall, the containers are very roomy and holds lots of prep food. We haven't used them for war, foods yet, just cold foods for a sandwich bar. Worked very well.

This is a great price for six 1/6 size 6 inch deep steam table pans with lids. They run right at six dollars for each pan and lid which is a remarkable price. These are perfect for prepping food or setting out toppings or salad bar. I am extremely happy to have this set to work with in my kitchen. I worked in a restaurant once and I always wanted to have these types of pans. I love them.

I was in the food industry for years and was excited when these 1/6 hotel pans became available for review. I already own plastic versions, but I wanted stainless, and the price seemed right.Upon inspection, these are definitely not the hotel pans of my youth. Although shiny, they are not nearly as thick, stutdy, and durable as I was hoping. The lids, specifically, are plagued with quality issues. The edges of the lids are rough and uneven where the thin steel is rolled under. None of the lid handles are particularly secure and two already had broken welds straight out of the box. Combine that with the ridiculously hard to remove blue, protection film (attached to the lids only), and I was just about ready to throw them in the yard.In my opinion, hotel pans should be durable and capable of handling the abuse a professional kitchen dishes out. These are not those pans, and I don’t feel they offer a significant value.

The hotel pans themselves are a good size and hold a lot of meals. You do get a nice six pack of these and they fit well into standard steam trays. For that use they're great. The downfall or the lids if you want to store food in them as they don't feel very well and the handles can become loose over time if you read other reviews or break completely. I haven't had any issues with the lids coming apart, but I did put tin foil over the lid when putting it into the refrigerator so it doesn't let out any smells. I think the price is good for what you pay and what quality you get. Standard hotel pans NSF certified, and they don't seem to rust which is great
