They have a battery and light up like in the advertising picture but is no installation explanation... Like the other customer said, you have to install it on the right way to get Emmergency thing... Is NO INSTALL SCHEME provided. If the seller is serious about it then please provide installation instructions!!!!

These bulbs are amazing and will work well if the circuitry for them is wired properly. They must have some circuit resistance across the end pins to trigger emergency lighting. They will turn off in a completely open circuit.
