Terrible ladder!!!! This ladder is not safe. I used this ladder on a level cement floor, was painting a ceiling in our garage, reached for a tool, the ladder shifted, I lost my balance and fell 6 ft to a concrete floor. Shattered my ankle, have a 7 inch wound around my ankle, my foot laying along the side at an angle. An ambulance ride, life flighted to a larger hospital, 2 surgeries to clean and stabilize my ankle and foot, waiting for the final surgery. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LADDER

I bought this ladder specifically because I needed to do some work in the wall cavity above my toilet. The legs of the small step ladder I had did not spread the width of the toilet so I could not get close enough and I was forced to twist myself into a pretzel trying to accomplish what I needed. Much frustration and backaches later, I found this ladder. It looks great and had the perfect spread & height to position over the toilet. Mission accomplished! Also, I recently had some painting going on at my place and when I offered this ladder to my contractor, he refused to use it. Not because he thought it would be flimsy or anything. He loved its style and he didn't want to ruin it. He used my old, beat-up step ladder instead.

So my husband really wanted this ladder for the platform steps and height (we have high ceilings). I ordered it for him and wasn't too happy with the stability. It's great for little things but not for staying on and working up high. It's a little wobbly and the brace bar bends a little the higher you get. I wanted to return it but he wanted to keep it so we kept it. Every time anyone uses it we have someone hold it to keep it stable.Update: we’ve used it a lot and really like it. It still has a tiny bit of instability but nothing that will fall over or bend.

i purchased this ladder because my home have very tall ceilings and I am not. I cannot lift any of my husband’s step ladders, but this 12 footer is manageable and it gets me high enough to change the filters for the HVAC system safely. It folds neatly and takes very little space.

This is a great ladder! It is much lighter weight than my smaller/shorter ladders, and it is compact when closed. Most important, the steps are big enough so that I feel safe using the top rung. This saved me hundreds of dollars because I can use it instead of hiring someone to paint my tall shed.
