The cotton finger cots work well for protecting my random finger injuries and around-the-house art projects. It's soft cotton to the feel but has a rougher outer texture that works well for feeling objects. The material is not iPhone or touch-screen friendly. I have a slender large size hand and the larger 3" size works well for my fingers and the 2" size works well for my thumb. The material is comfortable, breathable, durable, stretchy, and washable. However, I have tested if they shrink or not. Washing them in cold water and letting them air dry would most likely keep them at the same size if they do so happen to shrink in hot washes or the dryer. Overall, I like using the cotton finger cots when needed as they come in handy for random situations.

I bought for use at bed time after applying Balm on my finger for excema, but when applying on the first use the finger cot started raveling. Poor quality.

My fingers split quite often and these protectors work great. I recommend them. I put them on,then wear my working gloves for garden work. So far so good. Amount is very generous and price is right.
