The effect is very good, the installation process is simple and quick, the clamps have strong fastening force, and the deck is fixed very firmly. Even in the rain, there is no problem of loosening or shifting. It is extremely durable, cost-effective, and the use experience is great!

I was very interested in trying out this set of "Yeipower" T-Clip Composite Decking Fasteners when I came across multiple listings for various size kits from this brand. This review is going to be sort of an "addition" I am making for a recent review I already submitted for a larger, similar 250pc kit. (You can search for that using the brand name). I generally liked that set, but I had some misgivings about the included short screws.These Yeipower kits come in a transparent bucket similar to the types you may have seen in retail stores. This particular Set comes with 125 complete sets with the T-Clip polymer fastener matched with a 40mm screw (more on that shortly) and 2 driver bits.After doing some further thinking about this product design (using this 125pc kit), I came up with my own alternate custom application for interior woodworking! This T-Clip style design of the Yeipower hidden fasteners really lend themselves to crafting your own custom paneling and woodworking trim with almost any appropriate board you can think of. You will require a Router and a slot cutting bit for adding a channel to match the Yeipower clip profile. With a little bit of planning and effort, you can easily use these Yeipower clips to craft custom interior VERTICALLY mounted wall treatments!. I am coming up with a custom idea for making a backing decorative panelled wall for floating AV shelves for a 85" TV Display.What I like about the Yeipower fastener is that the included 40mm mounting screw is certainly strong enough for holding up boards and paneling set up vertically. The clip itself is more than durable for such a use. I appreciate that when you have mounted your boards or panels, the clip and screw itself will be nearly invisible!... especially if you painted any exposed wall areas with matte black or dark paint before mounting your boards.Hope that idea makes sense. You can really do a lot with these versatile fasteners for many types of custom applications with some out of the box thinking.Overall, at $37.99 for a set of 125 fasteners I would generally say that this is decent value. Apart from my misgivings about the included 40mm screws I noted in my other review, I am now going to adjust my overall rating to 4 out 5 for the Yeipower Hidden Deck Fastener Kits. After thinking about the more creative possibilities as I noted above, I think there is actually a lot of possibilities for this design for fastening custom woodwood and decorative boards in interior applications. I do think these are worth considering for a host of reasons.(Some pics to be added of my idea at a future date)

The weight of the clips are a little lighter than other brands I have used. But... once installed I suspect they will still have the durability required for long life of our composite deck.

During installation, the fasteners were very easy to operate and firmly fixed the deck boards to the foundation, ensuring the stability and safety of the entire deck. Especially during an inspection after a bad weather, the deck remained in good condition and there was no looseness or deformation. Overall, it is very good and I would definitely recommend it.

Well designed, it perfectly solves the fixing problem in deck construction. The unique design of the T-clip can effectively disperse the pressure, keep the deck board flat during use, and reduce the gap problem caused by the expansion or contraction of the wood. It is a great purchase.

We got these fasteners for our TREX composite wood project. We have a small deck made of composite wood TREX 5.5" wide grooved planks. The grooved height is 3/8". After some research, these fasteners provide the perfect fit. After insertion, the gap between the boards is 1/4" which is good for a project deck. The 125 pieces are just enough for a 5x100 deck based on an 16" joist gap. After recounting the pieces there were 127 pcs in total.

Hidden fasteners to set up the deck. It made the job so much easier! These fasteners are sturdy, made from high-density nylon, and come with stainless steel screws that secure everything in place. They create a seamless, clean look with no visible screws, and the spacing allowed for proper air circulation and drainage. With 125 pieces, I covered about 50 square feet with 12-inch spacing, which worked with my design.

I really like these clips for grooved deck boards. They are almost identical to the Trex clips (see photos for direct side-by-side comparison) but they come in at half the price (30 cents per clip).The plastic used may be slightly less tough than the Trex clips (I did manage to break 1 tab off on 1 clip) but for all intents and purposes they are a drop-in replacement.I found that I sometimes overdrive the Trex screws, but I never did with these clips.I also appreciate the use of the Robertson #1 screws instead of those cursed Torx 15 screws that Trex uses. The screws seem to be decent quality to me, and they are 1.5 inches long which is perfect for this application.So I'd say that cost aside, I actually prefer these clips anyway.Great value, especially if you order the 600 pack (20 cents each).

As others have said the screws have not been preinstalled in the clips, which is annoying. Likewise the screw heads also have a tendency to snap off if too much torque is applied.The clips themselves however are very nice and in some and I eel like they hold the decking better than the primary name brand associated with synthetic wood decks.

They seem to be just as good a Fastener as the Trex brand. Had considerably less money. The only con is that you have to put the screw in to the fastener instead of them already being inserted. Big deal.
