The threads did not line up at all then I saw how beat up the threads were. Even the pictujre on their add has beat up threads. If you don't want to mess up your engine take a closer look at careless these people are eaven with their advertised picture.Purchase this black one for $1 less. It fit perfect and people care about the quality of their products. Don't waste your money on this garbage. No need to buy a brand name at double the cost. I used this with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C3BB2G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to mod my 2006 F250 6.0 over to mechanical cooling. What a difference. I tow a 8K boat and have noticed a dramatic difference in cooling. In areas where I would be hitting 225+ EOT I am holding steady at 205 and I don't need to wait for the electronic fan to kick on which then leads to larger fluxuations in temps, hot, fan kicks on, cooler now, heats up again, fan kicks on. This mod just allows everything to remain steady and at cooler temps. I have also noticed my cooler AC temps!By doing this mod you will throw two soft codes (it won't set off the check engine light but it is nothing to worry about.Love this mod!
