They are inexpensive and very useful for repairs and electronic prototypes. I have tested 5V, +12V, +15V, -12V and -15V - All worked.

If you use them for circuits which consume 200mA or less, you will be fine. BTW, do not forget to install a heat sink (maybe multiple sinks). In my tests of a 7805, output voltage dropped to 4.5V @ 250 mA.
