I should've listened to all the bad reviews, but they seemed to be in the minority so I figured they were just being nancies about the splintering. (My apologies to those that tried to warn me, and anyone named Nancy.) I have 2 dogs, one smart, one dumb, both aggressive chewers. When I opened the box, I was a little concerned. We've used horns like this in the past and these were very different in that they're thin - like they've been shaved down. They match the photos, so I can't say I was surprised, but the even thinness and over-all texture made them feel completely manufactured and not natural at all. They also had a "Made in India" sticker stuck to each. I was skeptical, but thought we'd give it a shot. My smart dog wouldn't touch them. That was red flag number two. The dumb dog chewed away. He had them for probably 10 mins when I found a massive shard sheared off one with jagged edges - major swallow/intestinal concern. The dumb dog continued to try to break off pieces and eat them. I immediately threw them both away. Complete waste. Save your money and your dogs - don't buy these.

These horns were exactly what i wanted. When you purchase horns you expect a certain amount of hornieness. Well these horns were particularly horny. Excuse me while i make some kickbutt viking style drinking chalices!!
