Wipe the bathroom floor clean, remove the protective film on the back, and fix the position where you want to place it.
COLLAPSIBLE WATER STOPPER
1. Clean the threshold’s surface of all soap scum and debris using a regular bath cleanser.
2. Double check the required length for your Collapsible Water Dam, then use a utility knife to cut the stripe.
3. Peel off a small portion strip in one direction to expose the adhesive. Pull and stretch the water dam and align before removing the remainder of the peel of the strip.
4. Press firmly into place until the caulk has dried.

I used it for a sliding shower door that was allowing a small amount of water to escape. Either the door or the wall wasn't level so they didn't meet tightly enough. This water barrier corrected that. It comes with a useful installation kit, utility knife, caulk and glove for a single finger to correct for my sloppy caulking skills. Great package!

These shower dam strips on Amazon go from cheap to expensive so I went for the middle of the road. It arrived promptly and the strip itself is well made. I was surprised to see it came with a box cutter and finger tip glove for smoothing out the glue. Also wasn't surprised at no instructions based on other reviews I saw stating such.The product is not really like the photos here (the guy is holding a much larger model than this one in his hand) but it is enough to do the job.

I purchased this shower dam because it has the most positive reviews. However, like most all of the reviews say there are NO INSTRUCTIONS! I didn't know what some of the materials were for. So, how long will this dam last is yet to be seen. I used the silicone adhesive to make sure it stuck good. I was pleasantly surprised that the kit came with a tube of silicone adhesive. That was very helpful. However, it will take some hand strength to squeeze that tube, so beware. I would recommend 2 people to do this job. The dam comes rolled up in the box so one person holding down one end will help considerably. It was a bit of a pain to install by myself but I will see if it passes the test of time. I gave it 4 stars and will update if anything changes.

This cost AUD $60 for 66” (~1.67m) but the Lehom branded one sold for AUD $20 for 1.5m. Only found out I have been rip-off when I try to order more. They look exactly the same size, quality and material made in China.
