This looks and feels like a good quality cable, equal to the factory brake cable. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it just barely fit. What should have taken 5 minutes actually took about an hour. After adjusting for the most possible slack at the brake lever, I still could not get it to thread at the brake. I had to remove the rear tire and brake assembly to adjust the brake arm on the drum brake. I rotated the arm counter-clockwise in order to move the arm closer to the front of the bike. I moved it about 3 notches and once re-assembled I was able to get about 5 full turns onto the adjustment screw. I would prefer at least 10 full turns, but 5 works for now. In the future, if I have to move the rear tire back to adjust chain tension I will likely have to do it all over again. The cable ties that came with it are worthless, the first 2 that I tried snapped before they were even tight, throw them away and use a higher quality cable tie. At less than $9, it's a good deal, but just be aware you will have work to do in order to make it fit.
