People said it doesn’t close right must not have claps to push it in lol… truck ran at 195 normally.. popped this in and thought it was a failure at 196 but then it dropped the temp to 183 and never went back up. 4 stars because I saw the temp raise to 196 before it started functioning.

No matter what I couldn't get the last piece to seat correctly to get lock ring on. I discovered that the o-ring on the bottom of the 2 was to far down. I rolled the top all the way under the lip and the 2nd to where the 1st one was and still not enough to get the lock ring in and in the process lost the pill inside from having to exert so much downward for to get low enough .

Easy install took about 15min with minimal fluid loss (like 2tbls) Silverado 1500 was running 212° and now doesn't exceed 155° (haven't done any towing). I had to get a new 6l80 transmission after torc converter burned up came apart and sent pieces into the trans destroying the it at only 56k miles. The new Jasper trans and Billet torc converter loves this new bypass. I absolutely recommend this product. It is built with good parts that are equal to the more expensive ones. Don't flip the pill, get this instead.

The rings were to thick for it to work properly, I threw it away and ordered a whole block to avoid chinchy cheaply made products like this one
