I bought this product to attach fenders to my 23 ft sailboat. I wasn't sure what I would get for less than $25 for six hangers. I was pleased to find the hangars were high quality stainless steel. The hangers are easily attached to the wood cockpit coaming and are barely noticeable. I spaced the hangers 3 feet apart on either side of the cockpit which allowed great flexibility in adjusting fenders to align with pier pilings. I use 3/8 inch x 6 ft fender lines but hangers would work with 1/2 inch line as well. I will probably buy another set of hangers to secure items that I need to have close at hand but must be secured quickly when not in use.
