Swapped this CDI in after realizing my old one wasn’t working. Plug and play, fired up with no issues. At lower speeds, it feels just like my old one—nothing bad, nothing surprising. But when I start climbing, somewhere around 4000 RPM, I can tell the timing is a bit more aggressive. The power comes in sooner, and the bike pulls better instead of that slight hesitation I used to feel. That’s exactly what I need. A lot of bikes now are tuned too conservatively for durability, which makes sense in some cases, but for off-road riding, I need the power to be there when I ask for it. If it lags, I’m either stalling out or taking a fall. That’s why sometimes I swap these out before they even fail—riding experience matters. So far, this one feels great, but I hope it lasts. I ride about 100 miles off-road every week, so let’s see how long it holds up. If everything holds up over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be getting another one for my ATV.So far, no issues after two full days of riding. Will update.Nothing beats a good day out on the trails.

The cdi popped and started smoking immediately. Had to buy one from another source.
