Long handle, simple design and effective.Easier to maintain that the vintage ones, that are either silver or silver plated and require polish.My aunt is very happy with it.

I bought these for myself so I could fish olives, pickles and peppers out of tall thin jars.The long-handled fork and self-draining spoon are great. Better than tweezers. Beautifully finished.They would make a great gift for almost anyone who ever hosted a party.Love them.

This is a lovely set of utensils. My primary use is actually during dinners when I have company over and I have a nice charcuterie spread out. These have been really useful and they look good (nothing wrong with having an attractive layout!).The fork and spoon have different handles, which kind of detracts from the set as a whole, but shouldn't really matter when used in a utilitarian fashion (like fishing olives out of a jar for a midnight snack).Both the fork and the spoon have a nice heft in the hand, heavy enough to feel like quality utensils, but not so heavy as to feel like pot-metal.The fork arrived with one tine bent, but it bent back into shape without much effort and no apparent stress to the metal.
