Put this on my greenhouse in April, by the middle of July it had ripped completely in half. We even put pool noodles on the peek of the greenhouse so nothing sharp touched it. Does it work. Yes it worked fine, until it ripped I had hoped to get a few summers out of it.

This is a bit less sturdy than I was hoping for, but has grommets and carabiner to fasten it where needed. I use this to cover our dog's outdoor playpen and it works well to provide light shade and allow a breeze through.

It held up through 120 mph straight line winds and possible tornado in May, then just last week made it through a cat1 hurricane and the only damage is where the fabric meets the corner that ties into the grommet. Works perfectly in my atrium to protect all of my shade loving tropical plants.

The 10' x 10' 65-75% shade cloth lets in roughly 1800-2200 Foot Candles of light when the sun is directly overhead. It lets moisture through when it rains and lets the wind flow through and keep my orchids shaded and with airflow to keep from getting burned by the sun.

I got these (3 different sizes) to cover camellia's that are suddenly exposed to a savage Calif sun. This was due to a tree removal. Camellia's cannot take direct sun for any length of time. They simply die. These seem to work blocking the sun yet letting air to pass through. Time will tell if they hold up. The connections on each corner seem well enforced and easy to connect to tie downs. So far so good.

Helps on the outside of my greenhouse. Live in Colorado and the sun gets intense at times. My green house gets too HOT. Put this shade over the top, one side and front.

This isn't proven to protect from aerial predators - your mileage may vary - but I can see the hawks weighing their options when our girls are out in the play yard covered by this cloth. I use it to protect them from intense summer sun and for aerial predator protection even into the fall. So far. . . it has worked. Love the size, that the grommets are more or less placed at even regular intervals. This really does cut the intensity of the sun - allows water to pass through as does wind. These things are great! So many uses. You just can't go wrong!
