Used to plug skimmer to install a shut of valve under skimmer, instead of draining pool below skimmer. will use in winter to plug skimmer.

Used it for a center drain/vacuum lime in an above ground pool. I usually fill the pipe up with antifreeze and then put the plug in. The product worked perfectly. It took a little bit of time to install underwater, but it stayed through winter without issue.

I needed a way to prevent leaking while I replaced the skimmer’s plastic tubing with PVC. I did not want to drain several inches of water from the pool, so I cranked this down really tight and it worked great. I had to loosen it a bit and then tighten again quickly while swapping out the threaded connector and it worked surprisingly well.
