I was aware of this going in to the purchase, but in order for this spring to fit my 03 Tahoe Z71, I had to reduce the length by about 4 coils. Fortunately I have a grinder (dremel or snips would work as well I'm sure) so getting this to the right size was a breeze. Just remember the golden rule, start by leaving it too long as opposed to over reducing and gradually work your way to the right size. No more floppy shifter!
