I am using this to seal off the bottom of a old garage from rain water running under the wall when we get a abundance of rain. This has worked great for that.

These are made from stiff and fairly inflexible aluminum sheet. I am pleased that they seem thicker and thus a bit more rigid than coiled aluminum sheet that I've used before for roofs. These can be bent by hand if needed, but are rigid enough to be unlikely to be bent by accident. The corners are rounded and edges smoothed. Nothing sharp to cut yourself. This is a quality product with care taken in the finishing steps. Holes are pre-drilled for the sheet metal screws which are provided. Good exterior screws (#8) in ample quantities.I am concerned about this product in high wind locations. It seems like it could catch the wind, and that the sheet metal screws would not be the most secure fastening system if high winds exist. I think substituting machine screws and nuts with lock washers could alleviate any issues. Time will tell if it becomes a problem for me, but I'm not worried as reinforcing the attachment points if need be shouldn't be too much trouble.Overall I am super pleased to have these splash guards to deal with gutters that overflow.

The splash guards did exactly what I was hoping that they would do. I had a section of roof that funneled down to one area and when it rains, tends to pour over the side once the gutter becomes filled with debris. The splash guards installed easily on the top of the gutter and now there is no overflow at all coming off that section. The one caveat to using these are you will have the debris buildup behind these guards and you will need to have a way to clear it out of there at times. The one suggestion I would say is to measure out how much you need before you order them and factor in that you will have a little overlap on each one.

I'm using these to add extensions to a valley guard I've had on my roof. The valley guard works fine but the water can creep around the edges at times. These guards are a good option to extend that. These are made well and are a good size, both in height and width. The included screws work well to hold them in place.
