Installation Instructions:
1. Preparation:
Ensure the engine is turned off and cool before starting.

I build and work on street rods, resto-mods and restorations as well as late model cars and trucks. I recently had the opportunity to order and review this fitting kit for an installation I’m doing. The carburetor is a knock-off of the venerable Carter AVS carb. The air cleaner the customer wants to use has a drop base and the straight-out fuel line fitting would not work. We figured that the banjo fitting should give us the clearance needed. As you can see from the photos, the fuel inlet is too close to the carburetor with this fitting. If the banjo fitting had been machined with a slightly wider/thicker base, there would be room for the fuel line. Other than the clearance issue in our case, the parts seem to be well made and come with a pair of plastic or teflon (hard to tell) gaskets.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this fitting my Big-Foot “Stomp” of 3 stars!

Just like the name brand version. Works well on my 1406 carb to clear air cleaner on top of carb.
