Eyeballing its size from the image, it fit right in. If in doubt use Google Lens on your old part to find te model like we did to make sure.If your model looks remotely compatable then there are only a couple possible units that are even close. This probably works.It picks up lint about like the factory model. Im assuming its just as durable. It feels the same side by side at least. Id like to think we didnt overpay for it.

I did not check model numbers, I just ordered, figuring it "looked right" and it would fit. Apparently there are two major categories: lint screens that hook directly to the cover/handle; and lint screens that have a one-inch plastic extension between the screen and the cover/handle. This one does not have the one-inch extension, but I was able to carefully pop open the plastic tabs on both covers and put my old one onto this one, and it works fine.

I keep buying these...because I have to. I bought a superb quality dryer about 10 years ago but hate the long lint trap. I've had to purchase a new one every year. Wish I could find something not made of plastic.

A perfect fit on my kenmore 80 series, but my lent is falling down the lent catcher every time before I can get it. I’ve written support so if they get back to me and help me fix it, I’ll give this 5 stars.

My old Whirlpool dryer ( model# LGC6848AQ2) needed a new lint filter because the door for the old filter had broken off. This new filter had the same dimensions and was a perfect fit, despite looking different. well done!!
