This little sensor is half the price of others and works very well in my 2024 4Runner ORP.There is a good video only on how to install. It only takes a few minutes. Definitely worth the money.

This was a very easy installation that took less than 2 minutes. Works as expected in my 2023 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium. At half the cost that the dealership is charging, if this holds up it is a very good deal.

I ordered this for my 2020 Toyota 4Runner to replace the 'dummy plug' that was sitting in the center of the dash board. Unplugging the dummy sensor and plugging this legit sensor in, allowed for my headlights and fogs to stay on at all times but the dash cluster and radio cluster would adjust from bright white to dark black when it sensed if I was driving in the day time versus the night time. Worked as intended.

This plugged right in and tested to work well in a few minutes on my ‘23 4Runner TRD Off-road. It causes the radio and gauges to dim to whatever your dimmer setting is at when it’s dark out, otherwise during the day everything is at max brightness as it should be!
