1. GM 1997 and newer 5.7L V-8's (including Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, Impala) GM 2000 and newer 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 8.1L V8s Cadillac 1988 and newer 4.5L, 4.6L, and 4.9L V8's Oldsmobile 1995 and newer 4.0L V8 Chevrolet trucks 2003 - later 4.2L I6, 2004 - current 3.5L I5 and 2005 - current 2.8L I4. Chrysler 1990 - newer, including 2.0L, 2.4L-4s, 2.5L, 2.7L, 3.3L, 3.5L, 3.8L V6s. Ford 1995 - later V8 engines with 3 spoke pressed on damper. Mitsubishi Eclipse 1995 - 1999 2.0L DOHC non-turbo.
2. Chrysler Balancer Plate application: - 1990 - newer 3.3L V6 Vans - 1994 -newer 3.8L V6 - 1993 -1997 3.3L AND 3.5L V6 CARS - 1998 - NEWER 2.7L, 3.2L, 3.5L V6 CARS.
3. This 3 Jaw Puller is used to remove Chrysler Crankshaft Dampers on 2.0, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7. 3.3, 3.5, 3.8, 3.7, & 4.7 Liter Engines 1990 through current.
4. It also works on some Mitsubishi applications. Price is right. Quality is not. Used half a harmonic balancer pull, bent the rod and the jack bolt lost its threads.

This pulley puller is not very well made it was only used once and the rod bent and the bolt strips out recommend to get a better brand if you need to use it one time it should work enough to get through the removal

You can see in the one picture where I had to LIGHTLY grind the balancer (yes, at all 3 points) where a burr in the casting sticks out, not allowing the hooks to get a good bite. I managed to get the balancer pulled, but it was a one shot deal as the pushing rod bent (see other pic) by the time it was out (and yes, that was with a wrench!).Ended up returning the unit as they had no replacement parts. Thank you Amazon for extending my return period by a few days. Told the vendor to inform the manufacturer that they need to use harder material - which they say they did.

I used it to pull a harmonic balancer / pulley off my 5.9l magnum engine. It worked great! You have to take 1 of the jaws off the hub and you can fit 2 of the jaws in the balancer while connected to the hub. Then secure the 1 jaw back on the hub. Then pull the balancer off the crank. Mine was easy peasy to remove with this tool.

Made from soft steel. The puller rod bends when you use it and the balancer holder ring buckled under the torque required for the new balancer bolt.

Tool seems well made but the lock was too large in diameter to fit inside the harmonic balancer spokes on my 2007 Chrysler 3.5L V6
