Bought these to replace 4 burned out 8v bulbs in a Realistic STA-7 receiver. They work perfectly and I still have 6 spares! :)

It was straight plug-and-play (well, you have to twist or solder the leads in). The 450-750 put out AC current for their bulbs and the 850 and up put out DC. I can confirm that this works for the 650 with no issue. About the same brightness and color too. Looks really good!

Bought these for use in a Sansui G-5500 that I was restoring. They fit the original settings perfectly. Note that the original lamps are automobile-type bulbs that are soldered, so these need soldering as well. If/when you straighten the leads to solder to wires, the "bulb" unit will fall out of its housing base........no big deal, just a word of caution. They work great........not too bright, not too dim.

Excellent quality replacement for dial illumination on a Lafayette LR-3500 receiver. The original lamps gave the dial a green glow, whereas these LED bulbs make it appear blue, but I like it better in blue. These are definitely brighter than the original ones, but not obnoxiously so.Now to find replacement bulbs for the source indicators and tuning meters...

Received incandescent bulbs instead of LEDs ordered and described. Contacted Bob as per instructions in box if issues. He shipped LEDs Priority Mail at no additional charge. Knowing these required soldering into existing 8 volt circuit, I replaced the panel lamps on Pioneer SX450 restoration project, and these LEDs are much brighter/uniform and create far less heat (note: use heat syncs when soldering to avoid damage to LED circuitry).

I'm restoring a Realistic STA-2080 receiver, and these LED wedge lamps are perfect! In this case, they needed to be soldered to the leads, but they were very easy to solder. The receiver looks amazing with them!
