My three-year-old granddaughter loves the characters, and so doesn’t resist when we stick them onto our clothing. However, I’m not sure they do a lot of good. The citronella could be stronger. The adhesive that holds them on could definitely be stronger, or at least maybe moisture resistant. We’ve had a few very hot, humid days recently, And these fall right off. I resolve that issue easily with safety pins. I also added a little citronella oil to them to make them work better. But if I’m going to have to use safety pins and my own oil, I guess I could just use any scrap of material and get the same results.

We provide these stickers at our vacation rental as an option for insect repellant along with spray options. They have been used but nobody has indicated either way how effective the are.The designs are cute and this method of delivering repellant is less messy than sprays or lotions.

These cute patches work well. We are in the mountains this weekend and everyone is wearing them.. we do one on an arm and one on the back of a leg and they work really well...keep them on overnight and they stay on even when we swam. I don't know if they still work after that but it seemed like they did

These have a VERY strong scent and stick to your clothes very well. They seem to work OK, but the goo they put on them stained all of our clothes and we could NOT get it off, even with stain pre-treating. Also, you cannot put them on your skin, so overall, it was disappointing.

It is summertime, and bugs and mosquitos are the number one thing that keeps me from enjoying being outside. The stickers are cute but fall off the clothes pretty quickly. But, my daughter loved the stickers and enjoyed putting them all over her clothes. We did enjoy being outside and it seemed to repel mosquitos for the time we were outside.

I personally use a citronella-type bug repellent bracelet, and I have had good experiences with them (i.e., effective and convenient to use), but I wanted to find a more appropriate solution for my 11-month old baby (he's in his "lick/put everything in his mouth" stage, so I don't want to give him a bracelet or apply a topical cream). When I saw how simple this sticker was, I wanted to try it out. In general, these stickers have a lemon-y scent, but it is not overwhelming (though it would be nice to have an odorless option). The adhesive works well, which is a relief because I did not want to worry about my baby finding a loose sticker on his clothes, which he would be tempted to put in his mouth (some essential oils can occasionally be toxic when ingested). With these patches, I just stick one on his back or wherever he can't reach it. And even when he moves around (which he does A LOT), the sticker somehow stays on. I also stick one of these on my shoes and my dog's harness when I walk him. Even though the package instructions state that these patches are safe to apply on skin, I still prefer to stick them on my baby's clothes instead (for fear of any reaction he might get because of his sensitive skin). I've also definitely made a habit of putting these patches on my baby before dropping him off at daycare every morning. Added bonus: I'm a big fan of the cute animal designs on the patches!

I was very surprised with these. For $13, you really can't beat them. It comes with just a few in several zip top bags...so you don't have to worry about them drying out if you don't use them quickly enough.We ended up putting one on the back of their shoulder, and one at the bottom of their shorts in the back (so they didn't mess with them), and they actually worked really well!
