I debated buying GM/OE brackets for my 2500HD, but combined they would have been $250-$300. I took a chance on these, and they are basically the same thing. Reconditioned OE brackets. It's a no brainer. I like to buy OE/Delco equipment esp. for brakes and major/safety items, but these are just as good at 1/4 the price.

This part was ordered for my 2005 Gmc Sierra 1500 4WD but did not fit. The vehicle fit feature at AMAZON is handy but in this case wrong. This is a front caliper bracket for a Sierra with front and rear disc brakes. Mine has rear drums. FYI if your Gmc Sierra is brake code JF7 or FJ3 (vehicle service codes are on a label in the glove box) then the front brackets are Cardone 14-1128 and 14-1129. The guide pins that go with those parts are AC Delco 18K1863 (one set per bracket). You will also need 4 of the little rubber boots that seal the pins (sorry I don't know the part number).I had to get my parts from another source who specified the exact brake code to insure proper fit. I'm sure AMAZON has the 14-1128 and 29 plus mounting hardware. Hope this helps you get to the right part without spending a lot of time searching.

This part did not fit my truck i have a 2001 chevy 4x4 1500. The description said it would fit.

As advertised! But, it is a silver color not black like in the pictures. Also, installing the dust boots are a PITA and I ruined two of them before I figured out how to do it! You need a 12 point socket to pound them in, not a 6 point. Makes it much easier!
