This product is designed for FJ Cruiser models from 2007 to 2020, allowing users to turn off the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with a single button, including ABS/EBD, ASC, and ATC. When driving on snowy or slippery surfaces, turning off the ESP helps improve traction, especially when climbing slopes. The system mimics the ESP-off function in FJ Cruiser's four-wheel-drive mode, and the switch can be activated during driving without generating fault codes.

Post-Activation: After turning off the ESP switch, all four-wheel drive indicator lights will go out during the vehicle's operation, with only the central differential lock light remaining on. This state is randomly generated and does not affect the vehicle. If the vehicle is running without a fault code, restarting the engine will recover the system. Worked great! UNTIL, i found all my lights coming on and throwing a code for the vent valve solenoid. The harness plug that this switch came with took the wire from the VVS and killed the power to it in the charcoal canister. Had to remove the switch to regain power to the vent valve solenoid.. bit worked great for a few days until that code popped up.
