The thing whistles at anything higher than 50% fan speed, so I'm rating it according to the % of fan speeds where it doesn't whistle. Also, the one I received has a black cage on it, not that the color matters - just wondering if that could have something to do with it. Also, this cage isn't balanced! So it vibrates like crazy. Clearly a part that was cheaped out on in the worst way. At least it actually works though and gets the job done blowing air.
