I installed on my VW because a/c wasn't working very well. I removed the old one, lost the refrigerant in the system. I replaced with the new one and and the a/c shop fill the system.Working great, problem solved.

A bit more pricey than other sellers but worth it. Really check if the valve is held by a bolt or snap ring I made that mistake of not visually checking and ended up having to reorder the correct one. Easy to install took like 15mins no need to take out the AC compressor can be done while mounted. Its held in by a hex bold just CAUTION make sure to evacuate the ac refrigerant before removing to relieve the pressure in the lines and wear safety glasses just in case. The evacuation can be done at your local auto or ac repair shop shouldn't cost more than $20. This was a fix for my 07 VW Jetta AC now works great blows cold no more intermittent cooling highly recommend!
