Gift for my mom. She loved it. It is great quality - very well made. Looks slightly rustic but still provides a pop of color. Best part is it collapses flat so easy to store if you don’t want to leave out

I haven’t really used this yet but I did test it out with some of my cookbooks and seems sturdy enough. I actually bought it because my kitchen has a red theme (apples) but because I couldn’t find an apple cookbook stand that I liked, I settled for this.

I got this to "decorate" my newly remodeled kitchen, I was planning on displaying a vintage cookbook with a red and white cover on it. In the photos it appeared to be a plain, true "red" color. The one I received looked like it was painted with a mix of black and red paint. It gave it sort of a "rustic" look that was not unattractive, it just wasn't a good match for me. I ended up returning it based on that. Also, be aware it is not going to work for cookbooks that are thick, and the book weights that are supposed to hold the book open are not heavy enough. I opened a new cookbook and put it on the stand to see if the book would stay open, and the chains slipped right off, which could be a problem if you were busy cooking and trying to follow a recipe. All in all, this is more decorative than functional.

This cookbook holder looks like it has been outside in the weather for a while. Very cool finish. I love the look. It holds big cookbooks with no problems. It folds flat for easy storage but it looks so nice, I think I’ll leave it out for now.

The color is not as red as I wished it to be it’s more rustic and faded. But it is sturdy and serves its purpose.
