Took my daughter 5 minutes to install. Her 1998 chevy s10 had a fan problem where 1 and 2 level did nothing. New part issue fixed. Has worked for 3 month now. No issues

My 2000 Chevrolet S-10 needed this resistor. It took me just minutes to change this out using a 7mm socket.I now have 4 blower speeds instead of 1.Well made replacement. I saw less expensive versions here, but I figured my original one lasted 23 years, so I'm going with a GM OE replacement.I'm glad I bought this.

This is a very good product. It didn’t actually fix the problem I had with my blower motor, it turned out to be a hidden relay mounted to the firewall. I found it easy to install and I thought the price was reasonable. So now I have a new control switch, wire connector, relay and resistor and the air blows on all four speeds.

This heating element is very easy to install, is working as expected, and seems to be as well made as the OEM part. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I had two different mechanics suggest that fixing my blower motor switch may be expensive. At first I lost the low (1) speed, then both 1 & 2 stopped working. I happened to read a thread on this for my 2000 S10. It suggested that changing out the blower motor resistor may solve the problem. e.g., Do this before changing out the blower motor, or the switch, etc. So, purchased this and watched a video ... was not a difficult task. Took me about 20 minutes to complete everything .... the video did not show disconnecting the battery, but that is the very first thing I did. The resistor is adjacent to the blower motor in the engine compartment. You can watch multiple videos if needed. This fixed my problem. All 4 speeds are back and for less than $20 and 20 minutes. I always try to get OE, GM parts when I can. This worked perfectly for me.
