Bought for my base model 2006 GMC Sierra half ton regular cab 6.5ft bed 5 speed manual w/t with manual windows.Needed a turn signal light socket and I couldn't find it anywhere at the local stores. Cross referenced it at rockauto.com to get an ACDELCO part number and I checked amazon for price difference, it was $17.50 when I purchased it 7/23/15, today 7/31/15 when it arrived, it's about $33.00 on amazon. The 3 locking fins didn't line up but I was pretty much out of options for the price if I didn't want to get a ticket for no blinker. I had to put the to smaller fins in with the larger fin still not in place and turn it till the large find fell into place and locked in.It is an ACDELCO part but does not fit the middle lense for the turn signal bulb exactly, but with finagling* it, it did "fit". The description said it's a female socket for that year and for the rear.
