My socket was white. I replaced it with their brown. Not a fit. I should have checked before I cut the wires. So i had to shave down the lock pins.

It worked on my 2003 Silverado after I trimmed off excess length of one of the locking tabs. After market socket may work with the same modification but I decided to go with the OEM. Wires ara labeled "A" "B" and "G". Blue went to "A", brown to "B", black to "G".

Use this to get rid of the drl and have it be a switchback bulb and it worked almost perfect. It doesn't fit perfect in the drl socket but it will fit with slight finagling and seals just fine. Good quality.

2001 Suburban 1500 LT. Front left turn signal not working. replaced Bulb. Did not work. Socket looked corroded. Replaced with new socket. Works great. The crimp connectors that come with the socket are a little tough to compress. Used a pipe wrench channel lock wrench to compress connectors (easy to get leverage to crimp). Very happy with product.

I bought this to replace a socket that had become horribly corroded due to a water leak in the chevy front turn signal plastic unit. The quality looks great and replacing from the original is very easy. However, before cutting and splicing the old socket for the new I decided to attempt cleaning the old first. All three sockets had varying degrees of corrosion. I used some copper plumbing pipe flux brushed into the socket and let sit for a little while then used an old waterpik oral waterflosser with a solution of CLR cleaner and hot water to blast it out. A little wire brushing and steel dental pick cleaned the contacts good as new.I kept the newly purchased socket for a spare instead of returning.

This did fit the passenger side tail light/brake light socket in my 2003 Silverado 2500 without modification although it wasn't perfect. The tabs are not anything like the factory socket. I was able after repeated attempts to find a spot where the socket did with a little force slip into position and twist to make a good seal. When seated the wire end of the socket was pointed directly toward the tail gate so start a little counter clockwise from that position..When looking at the back of the socket the wires are labeled "A", "B" and "G". I have a factory Black, Brown, and Blue wire. The Blue wire went to the socket wire in position A, the Brown wire connected to position B, and the Black wire to position G. which when looking at the back of the socket with the wires pointed down are left, center, and right respectively. Don't know for sure, but from looking I think this is the same as the Dorman part #85882 however the Dorman part does not appear to come with the heat shrink but connectors which are needed for making a weather tight connection.. All in all took about 20 minutes and worked out great.
