Acdelco parts that was not made correct, I guess your just paying for the name any more but these brake shoes did not have the brake automatic adjuster pin holes in the correct spot on the side plates and were to close to the back plate that the shoe material attaches to by .075, same with the park brake lever pivot hole to close to the back plate by the same amount .075. I should have just returned these but instead of waiting 3 more days to try an other set and who knows if they would have been correct but I needed to finish the job so I ended just modified the brake hardware a bit so the pins would slide through the hardware and install as they should, basically had to grind material from both the park brake lever arm and the shoe adjuster arm and on both sides to get the pins to drop through the shoes. Crazy to think it so hard to get good replacement parts any more with most things being made by the offshore cheap labor but its also disappointing that I have been an auto tech for over 35 years so frustrating to think we once had a lot better parts program in place. Beware people and better be prepared even when you buy name brand parts now days

These do not fit the front brakes of a 1957 Thunderbird. Although it is possible to install them, they rub the edge of the drum and are not usable. Too bad the return window closed before I attempted installation. Guess I will buy locally from now on.
