whatever you do, do not overtorque this. I had to drill out the old one and install a heli coil. i forget the lb/ft but its something low like 18 lbs. dont quote me on that.

This pulley felt really cheap until I took the factory one off and realized it was the same. In that case, it is worth spending less money on this item because it is about the same quality as the factory one. The part was easy to get on and was a perfect fit.

I was skeptical as this is a large item. Shipped quick, thanks Prime! All instructions included, easy installation, love the look of these steps. The steps are large enough for work boots, and easy enough for the kids to get in and out. The rear step helps you get stuff out of the bed and rear tool box in the bed. If you have never had wheel to wheel steps, you are missing the versatility that they offer.The brackets are very firm, you get 3 brackets for each step and although it doesn't seem like they would hold a large person, they do. I am quite surprised on how stiff they are. I am impressed, especially since the dealer wanted over $300 more for a lesser product. Total installation time took about two hours by myself, an hour on each side; considering each step is about 5-6' long. Not that difficult to install yourself.

This pulley is made of metal and is identical in construction, appearance, and function to the OE part; and is made in Germany. Its not a plastic "will fit" replacement part. Hard to beat the price and quality.

Had one of these go bad on a R53 Mini Cooper S. The old one the bearings were just screaming! So I found some guides installed it myself and boy what a difference. And I couldn't find a better price on one of these anywhere else!
