Simple, functional, exactly what you want for a simple outdoor map case. A little difficult to close, but not bad. It does make a great seal, no water getting into this thing. Fold the map the way you want it and you can easily use the map while it stays dry. Plenty of room for pencils, notepads, protractors, etc.

The seal below the zipper was open making this useless. It appeared to be a defect. Amazon replaced it. It should be arriving in a few days.

Good map holder for adventure contest. Could be 1/2 widerto reduce folding. I recommend taking a binder clamp or 2 to hold closedvery quickly and not risk a loss of maps.

Bought a set of these for a week-long BSA canoeing trip through the Quetico. They were a little small to hold multiple maps, but they held up and kept everything dry.

The map case worked well enough for 11 days of hiking. I liked that it sealed well and stood up to lots of use and to the elements. The major negative issue was that it split -- about an inch long -- on one side. Duct tape took care of the tear. Also, the ziplock seal seemed to loosen a bit towards the end of the hike. But for 11-days of walking, lots of use, and each morning needing to re-position the topo map inside the case for that day's distance, it did the job. The map case was OK for one long-distance hike, but did not seem substantial enough longer-term use. Bottom line: it got through one hike, but I disposed of it afterwards.

Really happy with this product. Came fast and is easy to use. Plastic is thick and sturdy. I put my phone in as well to test how strong the seal was and it held no problem. Great little waterproof bag.

This product worked great. It took a second to find the opening because it was all sealed really well (spoiler alert, the yellow line/zip seal is the top of the opening, not like a ziploc bag where the top extends past the zip seal). But we were pleased with how waterproof it was.**One thing to note, that wasn't a problem for us, but I thought should be mentioned. The dimensions listed in the description are for OVERALL dimensions, not STORAGE dimensions. The zipper, edge seals, and logo/string area all subtract some storage area. Because of that, you actually can't fit a flat, 8.5x11" piece of paper, it has to be folded. The real storage dimensions are probably closer to 10"x10", though I haven't actually gotten out a measuring tape
