Although pretty, it is not appropriate as a bird bath. Metal gets too warm and water evaporates quickly. No birds came.

This was to replace a birdbath from another manufacturer that got broken in a fall; I wanted something durable and large and this fit the bill. Arrived very securely and carefully packaged. And looks very nice filled with water. The birds have not taken to it yet but it took them quite a while with the last one as well.

Bought this because of its size. I have many birds that have been using my birdbaths, but one had developed a crack and was leaking. This is a nice size for my crows and all the other creatures that use it day and night (possums, squirrels, birds, etc). I put it on a relatively low cast iron round stand and it works really well. The copper won't crack and it is easy to clean every day. The only down side is it is metal and heats up the water during the day. I change the water daily in the late afternoon. (I live in Texas, so HOT)

This birdbath is truly beautiful! Maybe a little darker than pictured, but beautiful nonetheless. The packaging was very well done, lots of bubble wrap. I highly recommend this beautiful piece of art.

Love this bird bath! We have enjoyed hours of watching birds of all types dust off and play in the water! Great size! High quality workmanship!

The bowl itself is great. I don't know if it's copper finish or solid copper, and I'm not of a fan of its clear coat finish. But whatever. My main issue is that the box and packaging were not adequate to protect it from getting bent during shipment. The box was the "product box," and not protected by a shipping box. Bummer. Anyway, I'm going to press out the dents with a rubber mallet and see how that goes. I can't find anything else like it so I will keep it.

I'm using this without a stand and have it nestled in amongst the dark rocks in my front yard (I live in a hilly, rocky, high desert area). The raccoons love to bathe in it, although it's not really big enough for that! It's shallow and holds about 2 gallons of water, and is easy to keep cleaned out. And, of course, it's unbreakable, although it has gotten a few dents. Overall, it looks very nice, and I'm very happy with it.

Birdbath is exactly as descrbed dimensionally. It does not have the aged look shown in the picture which is disappointing.
